Great for Beginners
"I was already playing accoustic guitar when I decided to get this book and learn bass. There's the essentials in music reading and some easy to play beginning songs. I was able to finish the book in a couple of days. Highly recommend it for beginners."
-- LeftyB from Dallas, Texas, April 16, 2007
Great for starters!
"I got this book when I first got my bass for my birthday. I learned all the book had to offer in about 2 weeks. It has tabs and brief warm-ups. The bad thing is that it basically has all the frets from one to five, which is a downer. So if you want to learn the standard notation for frets 6 and further, it's not here. (It's probably in part 2). But after you read this book you'll be well on your way to impress your friends. So after you get this book, get a songbook with it.
Great book overall."
